Events

Selma Ag Boosters host many fundraiser events throughout the year to support Agriculture students at Selma High School.

Fall Harvest Dinner

The Harvest Fundraising Dinner is held in October.

This is the primary fundraiser for the year with dinner table sales, raffles, silent & live auction items, and guest speakers related to our local agriculture community. 

4th of July Fireworks Booth

Located in the Wendy's parking lot for the entire week leading up to the 4th of July holiday.

This fundraiser was the mainstay of the Selma Ag Boosters for years and is a great way to show support for the organization and enjoy the 4th of July holiday at the same time.

Spring Golf Tournament

Originally planned to start in spring of 2020, due to COVID-19 to spring 2021

This fundraiser is a great way to enjoy the outdoors as we welcome warmer weather in the valley. Hosted at a local golf course, this tournament welcomes golfers of all talents with food and refreshments available. Golfers will also be able to enjoy raffles, prizes, and silent auction items.

Spring Trap Shoot

The Spring Trap Shoot is hosted at the Tulare Trap Club.

This fundraiser connects the sport of trap and skeet shooting to our community. Attendees enjoy a fun filled day of challenging shooting areas with lunch, raffles, and prizes provided by the Selma Ag Boosters

Non-Fundraising Events

The Selma Ag Boosters also host many events throughout the year that are not fundraising based. These events are for the purpose of showcasing and supporting the local FFA students

Raisin Round'up

This practice show is hosted at the Selma Ag Farm to prepare students to show at the Fresno Fair. Awards and prizes for the students is supported by the Selma Ag Boosters

Vine Pruning Contest

The Selma Ag Boosters host an FFA Vine Pruning Contest in January. The Ag Boosters cook lunch for the students as well as provide some of the best awards for the students of any contest throughout the year.

Community Service

Selma Ag Boosters works with Selma FFA to help host community service activities for the community. These activities have included:

• Volunteering at the local animal shelter
• Hosting Ag Equipment marking for local farmers in conjunction with the Fresno County Sheriff Department's Ag Crimes Task Force
•  Selma & Kingsburg parades and floats
